mostly clouds for us. there could be a very, very spotty shower out to our west or maybe a patch of drizzle. there could be a good cloud deck overall. this pattern is going to break down and there is certainly plenty of sunshine everywhere else as soon as you get out of the midwest and through the central plains. another frontal boundary coming to the west coast. we may see a little bit of that rain in here on sunday night into sunday in the form of some showers. but otherwise, i think we're going to have mostly dry days which we need. our temperatures right now, 49 degrees. lots of mid-40s on the weather map, 45 for winchester, 46 for martinsburg, leonard town at 45 degrees. we'll describe it as chilly overnight and we'll keep this cool air bass we talked about because of the atmospheric road block not allowing this pressure to lift up. that's why we have lots of clouds and sun. temperatures in the 50s until we break this down and it's going to take a day and a half or two days to do that. a few more brea

you were here with us last election day. welcome back again. we want to talk first about a trend you've been noticing is changing since the last election cycle. >> right. well, if the voter turn out and results and the 100 most educated counties in the country. these are counties like arlington, and fairfax, and virginia. what we've seen over the course of the last generation also is a tremendous shift. those used to be tried and true moderate republican counties. and the last republican to win a majority of those counties was george h.w. bush in 1992. since then, those counties have been consistently trending towards the democrats. barack obama won 78 of those 100 counties in 2008. when this election is over, one of the first things i'm going to look for is to see whether or not he was able to build on that in this election. if he was, that would explain how he's doing in ohio, virginia, and florida. i think that's one of the numbers you want to look to in the sort of postmortem of this election. >> it seems like the romney campaign felt fairl

so a very nice stretch of days for us. our next shot for rain probably not until tuesday as a frontal boundary closes in. cool tomorrow, lots of sunshine as high pressure gets closer to us, the winds getting lighter. the high keeps motoring over to the coast. we get the warmer air around the backside of it out of the southwest on saturday and sunday, still keeping a good amount of that sunshine. for tonight 36 degrees, clear skies. we'll have some temperatures at or below 32 into the 20s in the suburbs. winds should lighten up to 10. tomorrow winds out of the northwest 5 to 15, so a breeze but much better than today's wind gusts, 57 degrees friday, sunny and nice, still a little below average for november. here is what we think it will be like at 8 a.m., 38 degrees, sunshine, by noon 53 and sunny and at 4:00 56 degrees. saturday 63, sunday about 67 but yes, even a few spots could get at or above 70 on sunday. so it just looks like a really terrific day. your fox 5 accuweather seven- day forecast showing you one more day in
